How get started with the Magnetic Lasso
This tool is very good when you want to do a quick selection of a larger, high contrast area. A good example is to mark the sky above buildings. The greater the contrast the better the Magnetic Lasso will work. This tool is mainly automated, it is bound to make the selection automatically by how it sees the image. Here’s how to use it:
- Select Magnetic Lasso
- Choose an options from the options bar ( new, subtract, add to or intersect with)
- You need to edit width and enter a pixel value for it. By this you choose the distance it would auto select edges counting from the pointer.
